It was after 10 pm on a Monday and though we were assured a rainless day, it had not stopped pouring down rain! Dan and I were sitting there talking over the weekend's golf rankings, waiting for the sixth job that day to arrive. Inevitably we had the call from a young lady on a business expedition who had pulled into the Sainsburys petrol garage in Southwater and put petrol in her diesel winter grey Fiat Bravo rental car by mistake. She was pretty troubled apparently, crying "I still cannot believe that I have wrecked the vehicle! I'm so familiar with filling my petrol car that I had did not remember that I was operating a diesel!" I just instructed her to calm down and not to fret, plus that these things unfortunately do happen. She was able to relocate the vehicle into a secure space and, as it was no more than a few minutes off from the office, we were able to arrive at the lady swiftly. The wrong fuel was extracted and she could return to the motel she was residing at. Even though we got fairly drenched, it was all worth it to watch her drive home calm and a lot less worried. Yet another fuel drain in West Sussex done well in my mind!

We're able to help to refill your vehicle in cases where you are stuck on the motorway, on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, or perhaps even at your home. Our engineers can attend with 10-20 litres of the right fuel (purchased at pump price) and fill up the car. They will handle the standard issues which might come with running out of fuel - like airlocks, vehicle unable to start, and even flat batteries caused by over-cranking.
Water Contamination or AdBlue Contamination
Water contaminated fuel, no matter whether it's unleaded or diesel, is actually an important condition to take care of in a vehicle - specifically in advanced common-rail engines.
Water or AdBlue in your fuel can potentially contribute to idling issues, lumpy running, abnormal smoke and, if not addressed effectively, potentially broken injectors. Water in petrol is less difficult to remove compared to water in diesel - mostly because diesel is an oil. Even so we are able to deal with both cases pretty quickly.
Keep in mind however that if the vehicle was run on the fuel contaminated with water it will most likely need a new fuel filter fitted since the old one will probably be totally water-logged and ineffective.

Wrong Fuel in Car London - Petrol in Diesel Car Southwater
I'm not necessarily excessively excited about running weekends, and a week ago was no different. I'd only just come away from home filled with a magnificent roast cooked for us by the missus, and I was on the way to assist a gentleman who put the wrong fuel in his dark blue Isuzu Ascender. He was situated in Southwater thus it wouldn't be a long time before I got to him. Just as I drove up at the car and got busy draining he said to me "Praise God! I incredibly had my mind on other things and failed to ascertain I have put the wrong fuel in my petrol vehicle. Have I caused some harm as a result of driving it?" I said that generally there should not be damage and also I'd drain the contaminated fuel at once for him. As expected I drained the fuel from the car and put in some suitable fuel, and one more pleased client was able to continue on their ride without difficulty. The guy could not stop thanking me, and that is what makes carrying out work on weekends in West Sussex that little bit less painful for me personally!
Wrong Fuel Doctor Southwater - Fuel Rescue Southwater
This was an unsociable hour to be awake. It was around dawn and hardly anyone was about. It had become fairly dead so far, and me and John were sitting around perusing a couple of old papers. That was a rare restful hour in West Sussex. It was indeed that quiet that the moment the telephone inevitably rang I leaped! The customer stated: "I've just concluded my overnight shift and stupidly filled petrol in the diesel trusty BMW M6". We instructed him to let us know where exactly the car was and we headed out, getting to him in Southwater less than an hour later. The contaminated fuel was cleaned up and removed from the engine. He said many thanks for showing up so promptly. As we were coming back home we found two women at the side of the street who seemed like they suffered a flat. As a result we pulled over and helped them change it, much to their delight.
